anyone else having difficulty with this boss? seems like whenever i dodge an attack she does one faster than i can recover or hits me with the attack i just dodged the second the i frames stop, any tips?

Ye she's nuts, made me question if I should've been leveling up Endurance a whole lot more.
One of the best bosses in game imo. Keep waiting for the AE or the overhead and don't get greedy attacking.

I struggled a lot with the fight while my friends had her bug out and just keep walking around the entire fight.

i beated her yesterday lvl 47 uchi+6 , i couldn't summon phantoms to help me so i had to do it alone, BIG TIP brother stay close to her, especially in phase 2 when she spins like garen, if you stick to that booty you will kill her !!!! good luck

Just watch what she does and make use of running, generally when she does those big overhead smashes she will be open for an attack. Run in get your hit and get the ♥♥♥♥ out, everything else you run the ♥♥♥♥ away or dodge.

I died 10 times to this boss, very fustrating. I main the great axe, so it has a pretty limited range, but i found you can limit her move set if you stick close to her, just watch out for her grab, it's almost a one hit move whilst embared.

ive realised by biggest issue with the fight now
the camera always ♥♥♥♥♥ up cant see half her attacks

I'll tell you what worked for me after some deaths. Unlocked camera most of the time. Do not spam your R1 on her, try to keep your combos at 1 to 3 hits, 'cause going greedy will kill you. Keep distance when she is comboing, or when she sticks her swords on the ground, or when she tries to grab you. Her grab is fatal.

You will memorize her moveset any time. It'll become easier.

thanks everyone for the tips but it turns out it was only her slam attack which kept getting me killed because when i was too close to her that attack really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the camera, being far away and waiting for a slam or a combo finish and going in for 1-2 attacks worked out

IMO the Dancer marks the big difficulty spike in DS3. Previous bosses have all been pretty tame (Yhorm, Deacons, Greatwood). Then comes the Dancer who has grabs that can 1 shot all but the tankiest builds, insane combos, and a seriously bad camera angle to piss you off. The area right after is seriously tough too (f**k Lothric Knights)
