What does NG+ mean?

New game with harder dificulty, possibly new content as well (DS 2 had special items only in NG+).

You can beat the main game again but with tougher enemies and bosses.
You can find different loot as well (different rings and a new armour i think, not sure about that though)

New Game +, you start from the very beginning again, all bosses have to be defeated again. It's more difficult and the enemies have more HP and deal more damage. They drop also more souls and you get better loot like +1 or +2 rings. You've to unlock all bonfires and key etc. again.
You keep your level and equipment though.

So, how can I start to play ng+ ?

Beat the game, it ask you imedietly if you want to start, or use the bonefire in firelink if you said no to start it later.

NG+ is where the game actually begins. The first playthrough mostly serves as gear collection for NG+ and beyond.

Still wondering if it affects multiplayer. Is it like DS2 was early game that you can't invade/be invaded by people in NG?

You can get invaded by people in differant NG to you.

and +2 in NG++ if I'm not mistaken.
I think you can get the normal +0 rings in NG+ aswell since it would be a d!ckmove otherwise (for the trophy-hunters).
