Good PVP weapon for quality build?

so currently (lvl 83) i got 45str/40dex, and ive been using the Knight starting sword (longsword) for quite some time now with the refined gem cause im doing quality, but i've been thinking about using something else, so any good suggestions for a quality build?

roll with 40/40 instead of 45/40, find a weapon that has even scaling and make it refined. i personally use the gotthard twinswords +10 refined and it's working out great. you could also try the astora greatsword or the claymore if heavy weapons are more your thing.

That sword is great. I've been using it too. You can honestly just Refine any C/C or D/D weapon and it'll be a good quality weapon. Historically though the Sunlight Sword is the best, but it looks like it caps out at B/B instead of A/A like it used to.

I've been using the Wolf Knight Greatsword throughout most of the game. I have no idea how it fairs in PvP though.

@luna naturally i am 40/40, but the knight ring gives me +5str, should probably just take it off xD, anyway, I know the longsword is good, but I just wanna try something else that is good , the gotthard twinswords seem good, ill pick them up once I reach the Grand Archives.
Any other suggestions are more than welcome :)

Actually with the Refined upgrade a lot of weapons can get a C/C or even as much as a B/B. I suggest grabbing a few weapons you like the movesets of and see if they can get that scaling after the infusion.

The red hilted halberd is pretty good. At 40/40 refined it does 480 physical damage.

Quality comes from the weapon-upgrade called quality from Demon's Souls. This path pushed Str and Dex scaling on the same level.
It's like Refined in this game.

Thus a quality build is a Str and Dex build without any magic.

Term leftover from Demon Souls but has stuck with the genre ever since. Quality was an upgrade path that focuses on scaling str/dex equally.
