No one summoning at Abyss Watchers?

Not sure if its just me or my level but seems like no one is summoning outside abyss watchers. Its a pretty annoying boss and having an ally makes it so much easier but am not getting any summons.

Im level 45 with a +4 uchikatana so not sure what the average level people do this boss at/equipment.

*Edit: From what i've read on the wiki I should be able to group with lvls 35-55 with weapon upgrades at +2 - +6

good god, i love this boss. not because its particularly difficult (its not), but its just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool.

The place was weird for me. I didn't see ANY signs there except one weird npc (some pale londor ghost or something) and even that came and went. :/ the servers seem to hate some players

Yeah its pretty damn nice boss fight. Took me so many deaths to realize what I was doing wrong hah. I am a sunbro so that shouldn't be a problem.

I also seem to not see any signs, as soon as I beat a boss I go outside to be summoned yet I do not see any other signs (other than messages). The only time I really have seen signs was for Deacons of the Deep boss, and even then it sometimes took a bit of time to be summoned.

One of my friends was putting his sign outside the first real boss you encounter (not the one in the firelink shrine area, the one after) and he would be summoned everytime he placed his down.

Only thing I can think of is the level range but I feel that the summon range im in is ideal for this boss.

I fought these guys at lvl 28 with a +3 weapon. Saw plenty of signs, so I guess that's the avarage level for the area. Not sure though.

Hmm maybe I was quite over leveled for that fight hah. Might need to stop lvling for next boss or two so im in other peoples summon ranges.

I ran in there not knowing it was a boss fight with 1 estus left and thought I was hot ♥♥♥♥ when I beat him. and theeeen the second half of the fight started. rip.

Does it matter? I thought you got scaled down if you're overleveled

Yeah I was about to say there was no one there but the NPC. Probably under or overleveled for the "meta" of that area I guess.

I'm pretty sure that you can't summon anymore after you clear the boss.

Same as all the other games. Killing the area boss locks you out of hosting summons, PVP or PVE wise.

You can still use your stone to be summoned or invade in these areas, just no-one can come join you.

It's possible to have eight estus uses at +2 quality before fighting that boss. I always had something around that amount. A +3 weapon and soul level in the 30's.

Honestly never struggled with it. Only died like once on each character I fought it with.

Oi. Sunbros need summons to rank up. Practising a boss while in phantom form watching or helping a host is good when you're unsure of how to proceed.
