The diversity amoung styles/weapons/tactics/ classes is what makes this game great, but they missed the mark by quite a bit, hopefully theyre willing to rebalance a lot of stuff.
Yeah, the dark set is great, looks cool when your embered! just hope they do something to buff claws a bit (amoung other fringe weapons)
They need to grossly up the backstab damage of these and daggers, and give light armour the best poise, and reduce it the heavier your set gets. Just my thoughts on it...
Im not sure if your being sarcastic, but I would have though you would have an easier time keeping your balance and poise if you are less encumbered? More likely to roll out of an attack with light armour, whereas it would be easier to knock someone off their center of balance if they were fully decked in heavy knight gear.
Thanks for that...
My understanding, is that poise means your balance or equilibrium. Being fully encumbered by heavy gear would throw off your balance and stability and make it much harder to recover stance, as you would have to fight the opposing forces of your body mass aswell as your armour if you were about to fall over or knocked off your center of gravity, whereas you could find your footing faster with light armour.
By the actual definition, you're right. In game, it's closer to stability though. Higher poise makes you more stable, less likely to be knocked down.
