the PC version is really bad... butchered release from Crapco bandai and the clueless FROMSOFT who doesn't know how to program a game for PC

Use HWInfo +Riva Tuner Screen Server (RTSS) - this will give some dependabe info
Go away with assumptions ..Here Durante speaks about DS III and the Engine

I don't know how many cores this game is using, but the highest core is running at around 60%, which means that the game doesn't need a lot of cpu power.
+1
Seriously though. The PC version has some small issues here and there. Mostly resolved with some driver settings and setting the game to high priority mode to stop it from trying to save power and reduce CPU performance.
Meanwhile, the console versions are capped to 30fps and still are marred with their own problems. Not at all regretting my PC purchase! :D
Meanwhile 3 of my friends in my online community are super butthurt about their PS4 purchase! :D Life's great.
No one mentioned task manager, or did i miss it ?
Anyway, yeah it's a good port. Runs very well. Would love SLI support, but i still get 60fps @1440p on full maxed settings even with just one gpu so whatever.
DS3 performs just fine for me as far a CPU usage goes, it's DS1 that stuggles in terms of that(in DS1, my GPU never reaches 100% usage because the game only uses one or two cores.)
Maybe a little assumption on my part but when I check with task manager after tabbing out, the game always appears to be using one core heavily and barely using other cores at all.
Using an overlay to check resource usage on the go and I see pretty parralel readings across all cores.
So I assume that any findings of "using 1 core" is purely some fool using task manager.

From their article. Task manager...
Task manager does work if you just put it on a second monitor or if you play the game in windowed mode. But yeah, alt tabbing out to check task manager is not gonna work.
Also i just checked, my cpu usage is actually LOWER when i play ds3 than when i'm alt tabbed to the desktop... Probably because i have so much
