Activate voice chat in options and you're good to go.

isn't it automatically set to open? Since, it would be a pain in the ass, to press some key to activated it, since I'm playing with controller.

its automatically set to open, but only works if whomever you summon/get summoned by etc ALSO has it on. Edit: forgot to write atleast afaik

Also, in Steam/Setting voice needs to be on. Also, if on a pc, the mic boost/volume needs to be properly set.

Unfortunately Steam's push-to-talk does not affect Dark Souls 3.

Worse, most players with it enabled don't actually seem to have microphones on!?

Are u sure? It seems like nobobdy has the mic on! It´s so frustating sometimes... Isn´t there any key to press?

i only activate mine when i notice another player broadcasting, or the host doing something stupid.

You should use Steam's built-in voice chat instead. The volume level for the DS3 chat is horribly low, with no way to adjust.

using keyboard...no idea what to push and also there should be a listed push to talk in Settings ..Key Bindings ..

Better late than never but I got summoned into a world to help with the Dancer fight and the Host had his mic enabled but he couldn't hear me but I could hear him so that's a thing still weirded me out since I have nearly 40 hours and do a lot of JOLLY CO-OPERATION and never heard anyone before
