Anyone having trouble getting items from the crow?

I dropped a rubbish and reloaded but all the crow said was "not pump a rum". So I dropped a fire bomb, reloaded and nothing happened(except the bird sounded excited).

Did I already use my "once per game", even though the rubbish did nothing?

drop a homeward bone, i dont think fire bomb or rubbish is items that can be traded in

Future refenrence to anyone, the item transfer is instant. I dropped a firebomb and picked up a titanite shard without reloading.

Apparently me reloading the game deleted the item I would have recieved.

Do NOT reload, it will cause any items they did give you to disappear. The birds work DS2 style, drop an item and instantly get the reward.

I dropped 1 of my 2 Siegbrau, got a negative reply and no armor, 1 of my 2 Giant Tree Seeds, negative reply and again no armor, Lightning Urn - nothing either, Alluring Skull - nothing, Clerics Chime - nothing. I did however get things for the Homeward Bone, Vertebra Shackle and Undead Shard. I checked online to see if there were bugs with it but havent been able to find an answer. Perhaps Ill try reloading the client?

Make sure you only do one trade at a time, don't leave items on the ground, it might cause the negative answer. Besides that, sounds like a weird glitch or bug.

Yea, i managed to get the Siegbrau and Lightning Urn to accept correctly, but ive been trying since my previous post. cheers, ill keep trying

You don't need to reload. As soon as you're out of the inventory screen the crow drops the item. So just drop, pick up, drop the next thing

Wondering if any updates on this, I'm familiar w/ how it works and tried to "leave" a firebomb and didn't get any response or any item left.

Thanks, I of course checked the wiki but for some reason I chose "Leave" for a single Firebomb hoping to get a large titanite, but nothing appears. I did it on the nest. Just wondering if there is something I'm missing like you have to be kindled or something. The white glowy item to pick up should be there immediately upon exiting the inventory screen where you 'leave' the item, correct?

EDIT: Tried again it is registering a response as when I come back from the inventory screen she repeats the introduction (i.e. "you, you..")
