Game wont load my character anymore.

I was playing darl souls 3 just fine for the past several days. Then this morning i log on and see that it downloaded a new patch. Now i can log into the game but when i try to "continue" my saved game it just sits there loading. I've tried waiting up to 10mins. The game isn't frozen because it keeps loading new item descriptions.

I had just defeated the first boss and have encountered the bird guys that took me to the undead settlement area. i logged out after touching the first bonefire there.

I had this issue, verify your game cache.

Right click the game, properties, local files, Verify game cache

Thanks for the help. The game verification forced me to do a re-install. Re-downloaded the game while I was at work. I still have all my progress so at least i dont have to restart.

Fair enough man, I had to redownload 1.5GB so im not too surprised.
