IS there a ring that makes you completely invisible?

I ask this as I got invaded and I could not see this guy but was able to lock onto him, I even managed to kill him. Just wondered if this was a hack or if it is a legit item in the game?

Yes there is a ring that makes you invisible at a distance. It's called the obscuring ring and its from getting to rank 1 in the Rosaria's Fingers Covenant.

Was he rolling when he went invisible because previous darksouls games have rings with that effect, If thats not the case don't rule out bugs, I was summoned by a guy and he was completly T-posed for the entire time we played together.

Doesn't this ring just make you semi-transparent, so that you still see the silhouette?

This guy was close up, no rolling just completely invisible all through the fight.

All I could see was the lock on glow ball thing.

I think think the obscuring ring does it. It's makes you invisble unless you get near them, though you can see aura buffs on them through the invisibility; another ring reduces sound. That or you got haxxord by the pirates of Dark Souls 3.

Why can't these people just hack a cradked version of the game? i got backstabbed (and a host of mine) by a completely invisible and invulnerable guy next to us ( we couldn't even lock into him), Such aaholes. This is a game about skill and those people just ruin the fun for everybody. Go do your job from software. I dind't pay 60€ so I would get the same version as some internets cracked one.

This is another server-side issue, along with sliding dudes with stuck animation. Good news is that this works both ways, he also can focus. but can not see you (or lags as a ♥♥♥♥ because otherwise he could have just R1 spammed you). Another thing to notice is that other playing in the game might see him. If you are with a friendly summon - let him care about that.

There are hackers, but this is not them, this is a game's problem.
