At Cathedral of deep. Where this ladder can be kicked down to create a shortcut. Why is there so many try torch? wtf do i do?

well i think it refers to the enemy which is like a pile of worms and if they hit you you get a constant build up of bleed unless you equip the torch which will 'burn' away the parasites on you causing the bleed effect

I still don't get why a hole would stop me trying my tounge however, or why someone leaning over a ledge requires thrust attacks...
