Parrying with Uchigatana vs Shield
I'll test this out more myself as I go how do you find parrying with the Uchigatna compares to using shields? (Regualar shields, not the ones specifically designed for parrying)

You mean besides the fact it costs FP to pull off?

About the same as the normal shields I feel.

Parrying with the Uchi weapon art expends FP. Parrying with a shield does not.
That's about the only difference.

I recall using other weapon abilities when I was out of FP, so you can probably still parry via Uchi without any, but I'll check that when I can play more tomarrow.

I think with the Uchi parry you can leave it a bit later than a shield parry.

Well using it when empty might alter the timing. Weapon arts can be triggered when empty, but they'll lose effectiveness. So, swing slower, less damage etc.

Goes without saying you cannot cast spells while empty either, so it's worth mentioning for casters.

Hey guys I tested it and you can parry without FP using Uchi, but the window seems smaller. I'm thinking/feeling that without FP the window's a little smaller than a normal shield, but with FP it's a little larger.
