Fight against Yhorm the Giant / Bug?

FIrst of all I have to say that i think that the fight against Yhorm is a huge disappointment. I mean you just have to charge the stormbringer 5 times and then its done? Pretty easy for one of the lords of cinder tbh. But whatever. I just wanted to verify one thing and that is whether I have a bug in the fight against him or not. The point is that you can stand under Yhorm the whole fight because neither his normal stomp nor his fired up stomp deal any damage to me. They just inflict a knockback and that's it, so I would like to know if that one is intentional or if I am supposed to take damage from it but its bugging out. Would like to know if anybody else has the issue or not.

I can't figure this one out..when I charge the Storm Ruler..it doesn't do anything but 40 dmg..??

charge it up all the way and use the strong attack in art mode

Yeah..i had the same problem. You just have to charge the attack longer.
