Why Are There No Werewolves? (LORE THREAD)
DS3 litterally confirmed that undead can suffer from Lycanthropy (or werewolfism for you fantasy noobs). I'm wondering why we haven't seen proper werewolves up to now, the ones we see in the Road of Sacrifices seem to be in the early stages of transformation, so I'm guessing Lyncanthropy works like the path of the dragon. I'd actually like to see werewolves in the DLC. Opinions?

Like a werewolf transformation where weapons and armor are disabled but fist damage is raised to like 300?

Raised speed aswell but super weakness to bleed, that's how the Lycans work in Road of Sacrifices.

I love werewolves, but I thought these "weredragons" are just as cool and alot more original. Maybe we'll get a decent looking transformation, what about that, From?

A wolf head, hairer body, longer arms and fingers and a slunched position would fit fine, like a skinny Skyrim werewolf.

That would be nice, but From is lazy. They are never gonna make new animations for that, so it will probably end up looking like an halloween costume.

There is animations for it though, they could reuse the Lycan animations.

Yes, but you would clip through doors/everything and you still need several new animations i guess? Not a big fan of Skyrim's werewolf transformation (and in most rpgs), it's boring when you are reduced to only a few attacks and you cannot use your inventory.

Guess it's just wishful thinking.

Probably no werewolves because they were trying to differentiate it from Bloodborne, otherwise everyone would probably complain that the games are the same.
