Good infusion for Washing Pole using Quality Build?

Decided to try a quality build with the Washing Pole. I had a quality bleed on a character and infused it with hollowing for the luck, but whats a GOOD infusion for 40/40 dex and strength washing pole?


Also wanted to add: AS far as the washing pole, do you guys think its better for a pure dex (example 60 dex) or quality (40/40)

Hollow infusion , go hollow it will add 5 extra points to luck when you equip it

But he's 40/40......the only thing hollow does is makes it scale with luck. Without high luck refined would be the better choice. Then he can just carthus rouge it if he wanted bleed.

Allow me to explain a bit more.

I already have a quality / luck build. 40/40 with luck at 30 but I have two weapons equipped with hollow which now puts my luck at 40. I'm trying a NEW character that's quality at 40/40 but without luck. I'm trying to find a good infusion for just that

Refined all the way. Washing Pole is the best if you go 40/40, chaos blade for like a pure dex build. The other katanas are decent, but those two are the best in those respective builds.

Most katanas don't benefit from refined/heavy/sharp.
Either keep it uninfused, or do a luck build with hollow infusion.

What? I've done some personal testing. The WA benefits more from being uninfused, because the base damage is greater than the scaling damage. Infusion = reduction of base damage (which WA has alot of)

Huh, I guess you're right. That makes about no sense. How does refined do worse with 40/40 than uninfused? I mean it's only 7 AR worse but still...what the actual ♥♥♥♥.

I have no idea, it took a long time for me to realise that I've wasted a refined gem on my WA.
But it's fromsoft after all, god knows what they're up to.

Well apologies for jumping to assumptions. You'd just logically think refined would be better at 40/40 than uninfused, seeing as how it's supposed to increase str/dex scaling. So weird....
