Nameless King too easy as a mage

I just took him out second try as a mage, first try I died because I wasn't familiar with how the King of the Storm fights when you try to keep your distance. Kinda bummed about this because melee fighting him took me hours.

Yeah, I'll eventually go back to melee. I have a melee character in NG++, and in the entire series I never really did pyromancy, or sorcery, so I wanted to try something new.

True XD Sorcery is different for me, since this game is the first I actually decided to use a sorcerer class in the entire series. The first two I didn't bother with sorcery. I'm just surprised by the amount of damage I can deal.

I am in the same situation as you. However, I took it too far. In fact, my character has 99 INT.

Nameless king is already the easiest boss in the game tho. Every attack is poerfectly telegraphed, he is easy to parry. His attacks do ♥♥♥♥ damage. Its like fighting a baby ornstein witha pet dragon

not trolling, he is so easy, i beat him 1st try without much struggle on every charcater, even on my 1st playthrough.

I wish i was trolling but honastly this boss is a joke

Nameless is suposedly one of the hardest guys and didn't give me any problems, while Deacons are considered a joke by many and took me lots of tries :')

Yeah, they actually gave me a hard time too! I felt like I was ♥♥♥♥ when everyone was saying they were insanely easy, yet I had a tough time with that boss.

The Deacons of the Deep gave me problems only during my first tries.
They stopped being difficult once I unlocked the Crystal Soul Spear.

Oh jesus, I can't even begin to imagine what crystal soul spear could do to them. At the time I was fighting them as a sorcerer, all I had was soul arrow, heavy soul arrow, farron flash sword, and soul greatsword. I can imagine a massacre.

I decided to try out a mage because the Moonlight Greatsword looks sexy, so I was, what's it called? Battle mage?

I decided to try out a mage because the Moonlight Greatsword looks sexy, so I was, what's it called? Battle mage?

Yeah. Catalyst (preferably court sorcerer staff) in left hand, and moonlight in right hand. Once you know how to stack as much damage you can, you'll be one shotting most people for days!

Yeah, soul stream is fun to use, but sadly its complete ♥♥♥♥ in PvP ;(

I killed some players with it. However, it is not easy to use. :(

I like my fights interesting and long. That's why in DS3 I use a regeneration build :3
