Princes Lorian and Lothric level?

After pretty much sailing through the game and enjoying it, I've slammed into a wall. Hard.

I've a feeling I'm under levelled at 54 with my trusty butcher knife +9, or maybe it's my lack of skillz.

What sort of level did you guys fight these two?

That might be a biiiiit too low - they are the final Lord(s) before the final act of the game begins.

What's your Vigor at?

Level 54 is good enough to beat them.

Also there is a nice elevator on the right before the bossroom. You may use it to go down, then send the elevator back up and maybe use it when one comes from the bottom. There is a nice item there. Also there is something in the dukes that may help you to upgrade your weapon.

They aren't hard, just watch their animations and dodge when it's time.
The tells are pretty obvious

It all depends on your Vigor - it is probably the most important stat in regards to seeing if you are "ready" for something as it means the difference between getting one-shot or not.

You've beaten harder bosses to get to them to be fair, it really is just a case of roll/attack.

I finished the game at level 80 or so, so 54 might be quite low for the second to last boss.

SL1 can beat the game, if something seems hard you need only practice.
