What does great scythe's weapon skill do?

it counts as a crit if it connects with the head and does a lot of damage but the real effect is that it tricks you into thinking that scythes are reliable weapons

It does more damage to the enemy, just like every other successfully executed Weapon Skill.

Getting hit in the head means higher damage... which is not actually high for how long the skill takes to windup and the perfect positioning you need to pull it off correctly.

Soooo... if you don't like having FP, use it, wasting FP is all it does.

I actually managed to use the special and got 500-600 damage. You only do decent damage if the actual blade hits the head. But due to movement from using their weapons, moving around and other actions you will hardly ever hit their head.

I only managed to get it off because I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with people during a fight club.

I have a Idea how this thing could have a use: the attack reaches around the enemy so if the opponent is tanking with a greatshield will the skythe bypass the shield? His head should be in a lower position too while he blocks so maybe its easier to hit.

first invasion with it, and it stuns the guy you hit. nice to spice up attacking.

Has nobody mentioned you get hyper frames during the weapon art? It might not do huge damage but it's pretty useful
