How to dodge old demon king fire breath attack?

The old demon king does this attack in which he uses his fire breath on the ground, it spreads outwards and it seems impossible to dodge. I looked online and the advice on the guide was to use good armor or you'll get killed. Is it really impossible to dodge?

You just need to pay close attention to his animations, and if he starts to do that breath attack, run directly away from him ASAP.

Yeap, best way I have found is disengage enemy lock-on, and sprint backwards immediately. Then spin around, re-engage enemy lock-on and get back to it. It's really all about timing and learning the signs of when he is about to perform a specific attack - same with every enemy/boss out there.

hmm, if you mean the one wher he breathes from left to right, just go to his right, it won't reach you...

if it's the one that sends little straight flames inevery direction just take some distance so they start separating a bit and dodge to the left or right, whichever is flame free. I usually played locked on.

Alright, for some reason it keeps unlocking me onto him automatically and then my camera ges stuck under him so I can't really see him, so it's hard.
