Lore thoughts: Solair= Nameless king?
I know the nameless king is a forgotten war god, probably the gwyn firstborn. But what is if Solair is this king? We know he was seeking his own sun, which could mean, he was leaving his father, symbol of light. Maybe he found his sun in the endless skies while riding dragons. We found dragonslayer ornstein armor near the fight place, which says he followed the nameless king. Solair was in Anor Londor, while ornstein was alive (in his time and space). Solair could recruited him.
Finally we found the Sun-armorset in this game, but noone who could own it.So solair could lay down his armor and weapon for his new life.

"parry the sun"?!
You made me laugh too mutch! XD
Nameless King was exiled once he sided with the dragons over his family and homeland, once he saw that they could be tamed, hence his faithful mount/old friend King of the Storms.

I doubt Nameless ever parted with his life-long friend.

Plus there's the size difference between Solaire and the Royal Family, and Solaire himself is from Astora, which he not only states, but is also pretty much confirmed when you look at the craftsmenship of the Astora Straight Sword, Anri's Sword, and the Sunlight Sword.

Solaire's armor in Dark Souls 3 makes it evidently clear that he's mortal, although a strong and determined one.

Could Solaire have been inspired by the Nameless King?

High plausible. Nameless was the Heir of the Sun, and Solaire wanted to find his very own Sun, a legacy he could call his own. It would explain how Solaire knew Sunlight Spear, and other similar moves known by the Royal Family.

In short, Solaire is not the Nameless King, but he could have been inspired by, or even idolized the Nameless King, to the point of wanting to be like Nameless, albiet in Solaire's own and goofy way.

The Ornstein in Anor Londo was not real. Only Smough was real.

Assuming much of this based on the lore from some items I read (too lazy to look them up again) and the dragonslayer armour we found after the nameless king fight. Ornstein is gwyn's son. Both use lightning. Both killed dragons. And both have a affinity for fashion.
no we know who ornstein was, he was not gwyn's son.

Like everybody else in Arnor londo
No because Solaire either went insane with the sunlight maggot, or linked the fire. And he wouldn't have been able to do much after either of those things happening.
Go back to Dark SOuls. There are statues of Ornstein that clearly reflect that character design. Now look at the broken sunlight altar. They used the discernable pieces of it when designing the Nameless King. you can clearly see that the sunlight altar was a statue of the NK, not Ornstein. Not the same person, never were.

Why ? Insane or linked, both have the possibility to evolve further

How? If he's insane he presumably stays down there in Izalith with the maggots and nothing happens, Miyazaki mentioned it was him "finding his sun", and so without purpose he'd have hollowed if that isn't why he went insane in the first place. If he links the fire his soul burns out and he becomes a husk like Gwyn. Neither of those offer any opportunities for him to go on.
Does the NK looks like he is not hollowed? And even if Solaire got insane, he could just move with insanity, i mean he wasnt incapicated.

but you have no good reasons for saying solaire is the nameless king.

The original theory was there was a statue of a woman holding a baby which had an astora short sword. This was the only evidence people based the theory that solaire was gwyn's first born on, also that he helped us defeat gwyn if we kept him alive.

We now know for a fact that solaire is not gwyn's first born but the nameless king is. In ds1 we are told that gwyn's first born was disowned for loosing the annals of history. In ds3 we can see this is probably a translation error since the nameless king was lost to the annals of history because of his betrayel of gwyn to join the ancient dragons. There is nothing that ties solaire to dragons.

If you want to convince us that solaire is gwyn's first born then you need to bring some new compelling evidence. Merely saying he is because item descriptions are vauge enough that no one can proove you wrong is not good enough.

My guess is that Gwyn destroyed the annals himself to erase his son's name as well as all records that would cause others to sympathise with him, or even agree with him. Then he declared that it had been the firstborn who had actually destroyed the annals, to replace his crime so that no one would learn the truth.

Furthermore, I think this was the act that caused Havel to turn on Gwyn and begin the plot that led to his imprisonment, and that this is why we find him in Archdragon Peak.
The "lose the annals of history" is a translation error. He was lost TO the annals of History, meaning his existence was erased from Lordran, hence the broken statues.

I'm curious as to why he's hollow like his papa.

The nameless king killed his dragonfriend, if it was useless. Gapingdragen is a abdormination of dragons, somaybe not his ally at all

His drake was suffering so he put him out of misery. Didn't you see how he hesitated to thrust his weapon into the drake?
