Lifehunt Scythe is useless

Does anybody knows if there is a situation where it works well or if they're gonna buff it?

I'm doing a roleplaying build of "Death" with the Great Corvian Scythe and I want to use it for finishing PvP matches but it is so slow, it definetely needs a buff, as sorcerer and cleric builds.

I'm refering to the MIRACLE not the weapon

When I said that it needs a buff I was refering to The Lifehunt Scythe miracle, the Great Corvian Scythe works well even with a DEX build.

Well yes it sucks. It's not even a tiny bit situational like Lightning Stake or Sunlightspear :/

Yeah but it stills very slow and can be dodged easily

The good part is that everything in this game is viable until a certain point, except broken sword of course.

You have to follow your heart and think what do you want. Its like choosing what do you study, you choose what do you like and will make you happy, even if you dont gain a lot of money. Here the same: choose the playstile and weapons you like, dont matter too much about numbers.

For example, i love scythes. For a lot of time changed to Chaos blade katana, loved it, but now i realise my love was in Scythe, and i'm returning back, even if it's not OP, as long as i like it, i have fun with it, and i can make it viable, who cares if the damage is kind of low, for example? Of course, after i choose the scythe (pontiff one) i min/max to hell, 40 DEX/VIG/END etc, but still with that, I choose the weapon I LIKE. I enjoyed chaos blade, yea, but the scythe was always in my heart. Who knows why. I never played scythes before, it just jumps to you xDD (More with the epic fashion souls i discovered with it)

So dont care if the weapon you like is not OP, just pick it. Theres NOT an useless weapon, everything is viable, maybe just a bit harder, just go whatever you want..

And hope it will be buffed in a DLC

The SPELL is totally the opposite of viable, trust me. It's not about the weapon-class here.

Dead again can be used for trolling, so it has that merit.

I saw a video of three guys trolling with pillars of light, doing a queue dressed like monks and... eating some gray juice...

Damn, is really the scythe spell so bad?! Now that you say, my main weapon is scythe with some faith, and i though about bumping it to 22 to use that spell (to combine with my scythe weapon), but if it's really so useless.. weird...

Dead Again is so instant you'd literally have to be standing in a pile of bodies and the enemy has to get within all hit boxes to even get hit.

The spell schythe was just too slow, I took more damage casting it than healing from it. XD

I know that, I've always had that mentality, but I'm not talking about a weapon, I'm just talking about the Lifehunt Scythe MIRACLE. I've been trying to hit a player with it like 1 hour and I couldn't xD. (BTW I'm totally agree with your mentality of fashion souls, that's why I use the Untrue Dark Ring)

I wanted it to be my one decent scythe, because the ones in game already sucked, so i feel you man...

Yea, i also started using Untrue dark ring, it hurts but it's worth xD

I said that cause FROM balances things. You have OP things, you have normal things, and you have things that are a bit bad but still viable, but there's no useless things, so i couldnt believe it, but if the spell is really SOOO USELESS... then it's an exception T_T a sad exception.

its like pontiff scythe buff... its great, amazing frost build up upon cast, but was so hard to speed up the damn animation, and buff the build up per hit? Why FROM likes doing dumb and slow animations for everything? Same as Bloodlust katana... that just makes them totally useless for PVP, even for PVE!

I don't even know how many damage you can cause to a normal player when used on a PvP duel because it is so slow and averybody can dodge it, even if you do it against a very slow attack.

The guy couldnt literally move, was body-blocked by 3 guys against a wall, and they used the spell at the same time so... xD
