How do you feel about "tears of denial" before duel?
Noticed a large increase of people using this in duels before the fight starts (along side 40 seconds of buffing thier weapons), kinda feels pretty cheap... Dont mind if someone casts it in the fight but is this just taking prebuffing a bit too far? Thoughts for duel etiquette?

For me using a throwing knifes as finisher is being scared and cheap.

It's my opinion simple as that.

You can use it like everything else, my point is about people that use it for final blow.

Is my opinion as being a user of that miracle because is part of my build.

All of you are only here for the most part for trolling.

I hope to encounter every one of you and kick your asses thats it.
Using Tears of Denial to give yourself a mulligan because you can't keep yourself from being hit or parried is scared and cheap. You see how this works?

Everyone is dogpiling your reasoning because it's ludicrous. You think that giving yourself a get out of jail free card is totally fine but you think that someone doing the smartest thing to counter it is cheap and cowardly. You're ridiculous.

I use Kirk's in PVP so idgaf just chase them down and roll them to death.

Well, my friend do you eat the green moss before battle?
Do you use any resins?
If it doesn't heal you, it's allowed in duels.
Throwing Knifes are a strategic way of finishing off your opponent, they're allowed. I use them, as I mainly use strength weapons I need a quick finishing move.
That my friend, is called strategy.
Are we really crying about Tears of Denial? Not that the OP really is, but the thread, wow. I mean, I don't use it, but it's not exactly a cop-out or anything. You have to put stat investments into it, y'know? That means it's part of a build, and they're sacrificing points that could be in other things for it.

Plus, a buff that leaves you with 1hp is no less cheap than all the weapons that can two-shot 90% of your hp at 27 vigor (and let's face it, two-shot equals one-shot due to the stun). If you're actually winning with skill and not by dumb luck or raw stats, what's one more hit with... anything? Eating one of those green stamina herbs is more questionable if anything.

I think most people are just pissed at the OP saying throwing a throwing knife to finish some off after they triggered ToD is cheap. Which it obviously isn't.

CLAP CLAP CLAP another ona that don't read at all .

For my point of view is cheap thats it.

There is no argument at all .

About the MAIN topic of this thread, I think is good to use it as part of a strategy.

I use it for the most part because Before ds3 this miracle was called SECOND CHANCE .

It's a good counter vs one shots and people that are using without shame that bugged parry with the caestus.

The parry in ds3 is not like in ds1 and ds2 but people seems to like to use bugs for parry like in ds1 .

The use of throwing knife as finishing blow for me is being cheap thats it.

Pet peeve: people need to learn that OPINION doesn't entitle one to say whatever he wants and not be refuted or judged for it.
Real opinions are given with a bucklet of readiness to be corrected, because by definition they are fallible.

If you believe that opinions can't be criticized, in fairness you should do the same and accept blindy everything everyone is telling you. See how stupid it is?

Duh, I can tell you whatever I want, it's called FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!!

Your problem has long been obvious, you are too insecure to handle admitting when being wrong.

My apologies to the OP then.

I did, he was talking about how ToD is not cheap, and that it's a useful counter against one shot ripostes/ heavy damage weapons. I was explaining most people on here don't have an issue with ToD, but have an issue with you stating throwing daggers are cheap.

You're the one crying about throwing knives, calling them cheap, then fall back to saying "ITS MUH OPINION".

WELL SON WE ALSO HAVE OPINIONS, THIS IS WHAT THIS THREAD HAS BEEN ABOUT. WE'RE TRYING TO BACK UP OUR OPINIONS WITH LOGICAL ARGUMENTS AND SUPPORT. ALL YOUR ARGUMENT IS "WAH THROWING DAGGERS COUNTER MY TOD, ITS CHEAP". WHILST PEOPLE ARE SAYING ITS NOT SINCE IT'S A USEFUL STRATEGY AND IT WAS YOU WHO GOT YOURSELF TO THE POINT OF BEING PUNISHED WITH IT. THERE ARE COUNTERS TO THE THROWING DAGGER, IT HAS NO TRACKING AND DOES VERY SMALL DAMAGE. IF YOU GET BEATEN BY IT THEN ITS YOUR FAULT.

Capslock makes things more truthful. Hence it pisses on your lower case argument.
