EDIT: Or don't play DS1, but then don't be surprised you understand NOTHING. Like seeing Lord of the Rings 3 without seeing 1 first.. You won't understand a damn thing.

In which order doesn't matter, but I do feel like Bloodborne is a bit easier to hop into, and it teaches you how to evade attacks, which is a huge part of DS3.
Whichever way you go though, you'll certainly have a great time.

I have a history of playing hack'n'slash games that rely on stylish combos over precision, so I thought Bloodborne would be better. Then I saw the Ancient Dragon Greatshield and Sun Princess Ring.
Soooo.....yeah, didn't even have a train of thought there. But I can safely say I was not thinking about the lore at all.
