Yes. I give up. Seriously.
You know, first they nerfed the FUGS. Was my favourite weapon from DS2, but i was like "Meh, ok, theres a variety of other weapons and it was kinda super strong with being buffable".

So, i switched through many Weapons and obviously i ended up with the BKGA in the end.
Oh well, WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT! But that got nerfed into ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sh-it tier aswell today.

Not only got its damage nerfed but the Stamina cost icnreased (lololol, as if it wasnt high enough already). Now i can do 3 attacks instead of 4 (included fap ring +2) with super slow and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stuff.

Im Level 250 now and tested 99 Str / 99 Dex (just for max stats)
FUGS +5 = 260 + 404
BKGA +5 = 350 + 396

Oh yeah. Poise doesnt work FU From Software (we all know it doesnt work).

You know what i thought? ♥♥♥♥ all, jump the hype train. Get myself a Dark Sword. Two hand it.

Wanna know how my Dark Sword is going?

It. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. OWNS EVERYTHING (obviously. We all knew that).
Double the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ attack speed of BKGA, FUGS or whatever other ultra weapon.
You know how many R1 i can spam? 7. SEVEN!

Wanna know its attack power?

Here goes: Refined +10 Dark Sword = 207 + 351
SERIOUSLY FROM SOFTWARE? 558 AR for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ normal Sword which can be BUFFED (Human pine resin = +95 dark AR), which is TWICE AS FAST as the BKGA and FUGS and CAN ATTACK MORE THAN DOUBLE THE AMOUNT

And you incompetent ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ got the idea to nerf the BKGA?!

holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell.

Wanna see a broken weapon?

Refined Drakesword +10 = 598 damage or so (with 40 dex/str). If you use the Darkmoon Blade buff, that goes to 798 damage. It doesn't swing as fast as a Dark Sword, but it isn't as slow as a great sword.

Magic was overpowered for a while and there were a few overpowered weapons being abused for a while, but a lot of things were patched.

In the end, Dark Souls II has the best PvP – much more viable build variety and playstyle variety.

Most of the people who complain about Dark Souls II seem to complain about the PvE.

Dude, FUGS and BKGA can still wreck up everything in PvP, they are way more dangerous than estoc / dark sword.
You just need to not play 100% predictable.

I dunno, I remember DS2's pvp being a lot of janky hit box yeorgh's/santiers pretty princess spear coupled with buffs all day, erryday, not to mention the OHKO Climax and who knows what other ridiclousness.

DS2 pvp was pretty decent, but it just had a lot of really, really lame stuff, and I'm pretty sure some weapons were just straight up worse then others.

Exactly. Good luck trying to parry a Dark Sword that is two handed by a good player (which i am, thats why i wreck people with it.). Of course the BKGA (and the FUGS) are still great/dangerous to SOME extent but compared to the AR / Easyness of Dark sword and similar stuff it's laughable after the nerf.

I hit rank 3 in the arena with just a Puzzling Stone Sword (God I hope that comes back in DLC)
I find that how good a weapon is is based on the wielder. Ive seen some ♥♥♥♥ Dark Sword users for example :D

You can't get near a good UGS user, not to mention attack. Attack = trade. Trade = u ded.
Running attacks work but then it's just a baiting battle.

It's only easy to parry when you're fighting scrubs who r1 spam. It's very easy to just r1-r1-r2 people who think you're a noob masher 'cause you're using a straightsword.
