dark edge vs soul greatsword

which spell is better overall for PvP?
what about when combo'd with a moonlight greatsword?

I already use farron flashsword, great farron dart, homing crystal soulmass, and crystal soul spear. I wanted to know what was the best spell to use with the remaining slot, and thought one of these two would work best.

isnt the dark sword only a vertical hit down? so you have to lead with a flash sword first, to get that hit stun, then quik swick over to it, if the cast time is not prohibitive. otherwise, its already hard eough to hit with a normal down slam.

I think its more about baiting than it is about trapping.

I could be wrong, but i think dark edge has slightly more range than most UGS, so if you can bait your opponent into whiffing their hit, you can punish it (maybe)
