Dark Souls 3, Fastest Ever Drop In Player Base (UPDATE - I Was 100% Right)

UPDATE - Just open all three links in tabs and compare "all" or even "3 months", its evident ds3 has flatlined like its had a fatal heart attack. This is fact and the numbers cannot denied. I predicted it after all, so I can now pat myself on the back. Numbers dont lie, fanboyism does.

I did some research into player base statistics, seems the PC Dark Souls 3 player base is dropping at a much faster rate than the previous two games. Franchise fatigue indeed, why FromSoft are working on a new ip. Note: Dark Souls 2 SOTFS replaced DS2 vanilla due to cannibalisation.

As you can see the previous two entries have a somewhat consistent flat line, whereas DS3 is a more streamlined downturn. Seems people on PC are burnt out on the series or maybe all the controversy surrounding the port is responsible. i.e. unjust softbans, lack of mod support, hackers, poor optimisation and crashing issues is to blame, all of which have been reported in the gaming news.

To be fair, this has been the most advertised and mainstream souls title,
Alot of people that have never played a souls game before probably picked it up, played through it and moved onto the next game.
Thats why there is a decline bigger than previous titles imo

Seems pretty proportional to the gains after the first month of every Dark Souls game. It doesn't mean anything, more players came, obviously more players will leave.

You're comparing years of data to a month of data, take the first month of every game and compare them and the drop is consistent.
