Playing Co op with a person using the same router and network.

So I am trying to play DS3 with some one using the same router. we are both wired in to a vigrin fiber optics router. But no matter what we try we cant seem to see each others white soap signs. we are both with in the level gap, embered and we have tried using different bonfires and locations, but the signs will not show up. I was wondering if this is an issue with use using the same ports or IP or what ever and if anyone knows an fixes for this.

m8 its not my first rodeo. he has just got the game and i have playing it through with multiple people. we have tried using a number of different paswords but to no avail.

Yep, I made this topic not too long ago either. Same situation with the passwords and all.

well its not the password thats the issue. i have playing with people using passwords.

There is no LAN in this game, if you're asking this. You can't play with gun in the same network as you.

No LAN but playing online they should connect to the server and therefor see each others signs. Unless it's a server setting preventing like IP addresses from interacting as a safety feature.

No. FROMs doesn't know about clientports.

Thats what I am thinking. we are both able to see and summon other people at ease. but we cant seem to summon each other.

this is while we are both online at the same time just to add. the game functions as normal while we are both playing we just cant see each others summons signs

Maybe one of you got soft banned like my friend did and i think i just got too dunno why

I played 90% of the game with my brother who is living with my wife and I. Same modem, same connection, same everything. Did you kill the boss?

Near bonfires or in general places where there's much activity are not good for password-matchmaking.

Put your sign down a few metres away, like in the next room. Sounds stupid, but it actually works better. Tested on ps4 with others, and I doubt that it's qny different here.

If its IP related u shoud try faking the IP for one connection. Greetings.

See, i am glad it worked for you. but i am trying to find some one who has had the same issue as us and has found a fix or some sort of work around.

No. i have avioded the soft ban and he has just got the game so i doubt he has been soft banned with in an hour of play and no invasions.
