Should I heal the dark sigil?

So, after free leveling 5 times I ended up having 5 dark sigils which curse me with hollowing. The issue is that I had no idea what these sigils did other than making your character uglier and I didn't care much about it to be hones, but after reading some topics I've found out that it can even change the ending and I don't want any kind of bad endind or what so ever.
Since I had no idea in the first place, I kept leveling up and the price to heal is the dark sigil is of 100432 souls... and I've got 73000. Should I wait and heal it or forget about it?

What are you talking about? its the *best* ending.

Yes if you don't want the lord of hollows ending. Otherwise, just wear the dark ring.

Do you know what endings do? Give you a different achievement and a different video. That's it. There is no bad ending (well there is one, but it doesn't even give you achievement)

So you do what you want. But even if you have these sigils you can have the basic ending. You can chose at the end between the endings, but you can only choose those that you unlocked. And you didn't unlock that ending yet.

If you care about the endings, you should probably read a guide - not to be condescending, but you likely wont get the ending you're talking about unless you look up how to do it.

If you don't care, and just want to heal your beef jerky skin, go ahead and heal the dark sigil - be warned though, Yuria wont talk to you anymore or sell you items.

But yes there is a ring that can make you look human. And there is an item that can reverse hollowing, making you look nice again, but you'll look ugly again if you die a lot.

Why even care about ending in this game. There is no plot anyway, let's be honest. You can make tons of interpretations what is this all about and all can be justified. I have 8 sigils and 99 curse or whatever stack and I don't see any difference, since I wear armor with helmet.

in total there are 3 endings, to break the line for 1 such ending you would need to only remove the dark sigils once, ending the storyline. then you will be left with only 2 endings.

Only reason I regretted healing it was because I wanted to use a hollow gem and do a luck build. Not a big deal seeing as you can get it back near the start of ng+

Can also solve the look issue the the sin statue and it is usually cheap.

But like others said , if you die , you go back to looking like a feet.

If you want Lord of Hollows ending, do not heal the dark sigil, if you want Link the Fire ending, is not really needed, considering that you need to have 5 dark sigils to be able to get LoH ending, you can go for the other 2(3) possible endings with them, i finished the game linking the fire, with 5 dark sigils, in NG+ they were all gone (hollowing still persists) now, if you concern is looking like a rotten piece of meat, you can heal only the hollowing with purging stones from Yuria or praying at the statue of velka, purging stones will not make yuria dissapear if i'm correct

No, people tend to find meaning in things, which don't have any at all. Telling there is any plot in Dark Souls is a lie. Things happening in this game is random Japanese sick fantasy.
