Removing a spell from an attunement slot

Hello I need to remove a spell in order to fit in a spell that requires 2 slots and i cant seem to figure out how to do that. Im using a keyboard and i swear i have pressed every button on the keyboard and it wont work. Can anyone help me? please? Thank you!

I'm not sure about keyboard, but it should be the same button as "use item," like drinking estus.

I was having trouble with this myself until recently because I was misunderstanding something so I'm going to add on to this. You CAN unequip an attuned spell but unlike armor you can't do it while roaming around. You only do it from the Attune Spell option at a bonfire starting at Firelink Shrine.
