obscuring ring only works when invading/getting summoned as a dark phantom (not sure if it works as a normal phantom too) and it makes you /completely/ invisible outside of lock-on range. HOWEVER anything that gives you an aura/that has lightingeffects (for example buffs, untrue white ring, lightning weapon buffs etc) are still visible
hidden body makes you hard to see /regardless of moving speed/, but generally only effects mobs, and only the ones that only see you based on eyes (sounds weird, but basically mages see you, knights dont, as an example) wich means you can litterally walk by enemies and they ignore you as long as you dont bumo into them. HOWEVER they can still hear your footsteps, wich can be masked by either the spell spook or the slumbering dragon ring
Incorrect. Hosts can make use of obscuring ring to evade invaders.
Can the ring be used to emulate this effect or is hidden body better for this?: https://youtu.be/Wz5vnejEieA
I'll be invading so I wanted to know if the ring can be used as a substitute so I don't have to dip into Intelligence
