can he kill them? i did get souls randomly once during that fight but he died soon after
He summons them when he raises his left hand, a dark cloud envelops it, then he smashes it down to the ground. Spawns like 3-5 skellys. And yes you get credit when he rushes ontop of them or swats at them and they die.
Yes he can kill his own skeletons
Apparently he can also summon a magic sword (i have not yet seen this)
On my victory run, not only did he spawn lots of skeletons (okay, seems like no problem I can kill them in two hits), the last time he did it they were INVULNERABLE skeletons (oh dear my sword, firebombs, and pyromancy has no effect. Well maybe the boss's death fog will-IT DIDN'T KILL THEM EITHER)
Invulnerable bonewheels that neither me or the boss could hurt, oh dear. I spent 90% of my estus getting knocked around by a pair of bonewheels gleefully ignoring my big sword slicing through them, as I was attacking his last bracelet.
Lmao, I was surprised as well. I only learned this after I fought him on a fourth character.
sounds like a glitch
i have not come read any evidence of this
The skeletons get harder when his health goes down, so if the fight drags on too long, it can get a bit messy.
He draws his holy sword out of the ground.
It's really cool, but his attacks with it are pretty useless.
If you attack the arm with one ring first the fight stays "easier" since the rings on the remaining are are likely to be destroyed at the same time (or at least when one goes the other will be almost destroyed)
He tends to keep his right arm close for most of his attacks, so at the end, you can just stand there more or less impervious to get the final bracelet (even his breath attack doesn't hit there).
