Curse Rotted Greatwood
Can't kill him, his acid field from butt-slam is constantly kept up in the second phase.
Can't hit the hand until he falls on it, even then it's not on my side most of the time.

His first hit will stagger me (No poise...) and take all my stamina if I block it, leaving me open for the arm thing to get in a good hit.

Eventually he wore me down and I died. Honestly I've completed every boss so far on the first try. This guy, I just can't do. He's worse than Capra Demon from Ds1

Try to bait it into doing that move where it stands up and then falls forward, as it starts to fall run to your right and then run back in once it hits the floor, then simply bash it's arm a good three or four times and then rinse and repeat.

Beat it using this. Thanks.

The Souls series isn't for everyone.

For you, I would suggest trying Barbie Horse Adventure: Wild Horse Rescue, it seems like it would be up your alley.

Save yourself the hassle and quit while you're ahead, if the Greatwood is giving you this much trouble you'll probably end up hospitalized from stress when (if?) you make it to the Nameless King.

Safety first.

Excuse me, did I do something to you?

I've beat every boss in Dark souls I've come across so far on the first try with the outliers being:
Orenstein and Smough (Dont worry, you've probably never fought them, not owning Ds1 and all.)
Curse-Rotted Greatwood.

Point is, you're probably one of those Dex/Estoc r1 spam "Pros".
Now, as you said before: Save yourself the hassle and quit while you're ahead.
