If a mod like that did exist it would for sure get you banned online.
It's core to the game, so maybe it's not the game for you. You should be having an easier time each time you go through an area. The point is to get the feeling of accomplishment as you master each zone. There are also shortcuts all over the place to reduce travel time.
What you can do is save scum.
Pretty much go grab the auto backup tool and set it to 1/3 mins tops , then when you die or whatever , just go there and exchange saves.
Yes , this takes more work than a built in save system , but it is the only option you are going to get in a souls game.
of course im not saying "make this easier" or "its to hard waaaaa". ive played the game just fine but i would like to be able to not have to do the same thing over and over just to get to a camp fire etc.
hell even an achievment for being a wimp or somthing xD
