Blue Sentinels: No summoning? How come?
Throughout my 100+ hours in Dark Souls 3... I have come to notice one thing that also occured during DS2... Where are the Blue Sentinels? For 70 hours of the 100 I have played I have been a blue sentinel, I have yet to be summoned once however. The little icon just flickers on and off like Drake and his music. FROM said the fixed it but... No activity for me. What gives?

Hopefully we can bring enough awairness to this topic to bring out another patch for it. Any comments or sugggestions are well appreciated.

Where do you live? I have a thoery that I'm curious about.

I usually wear the Way of Blue covenant if I am not playing co-op with my friend.
It would be only half as bad if a PvP hotspot like Anor Londo would actually be protected by the Blades of the Darkmoon or the Blue Sentinels. But sadly, my Way of Blue sign isn't highlighted in this area.
And this is pretty disappointing. Playing through that area with every character gives me invasions non-stop. I actually need to rush to the Water Reserves bonfire to join the covenant myself to stop being invaded until I kill Aldrich.

I live on the Eastern Seaboard in North Carolina, never really had connection issues with CO-OP/invasions and I do have cross-regional play on.

I completely agree. When I first joined the darkmoon, I assumed it would work just like Aldrich covenant but nope. Maybe if they added an item that allowed covenants like the Blue sentinels and the Darkmoons to manually put themselves in hosts worlds that are being invaded? Once the invader dies the sentinel/darkmoon leaves. If the hosts don't want help they can have an option in the menu.

SL and too many people in Blue sentinels and darkmoon blades seems to be a problem.

I actually mean that I need the protection of the Blades and Sentinels in that area, but for some reason this area does not allow anti-invade summons, at least for me.
But yeah, especially the Blades need their Blue Eyes Orb back.
Up until the patch, I was never really summoned as a blue sentinel. maybe like once in 30 hours.
Since patch, I've played about 15 hours and actually managed to get summoned as a blue 5 or 6 times (I don't have Blue Sentinels equipped all the time).
Mostly in Irithyll and Cathedral of the Deep.
Not really sure if I was embered or not, mostly just occurred when I was afk actually.

Hrm, then that gives me some hope.
I'm in Australia, which has the honour of having poor internet and big latency.
I haven't been summoned myself, leaving the game idle for an hour yielded no summons at 120SL at Pontiffs. Oddly, i get more signs at 170SL than 120SL (at Pontiff's).

I was thinking that bluebro/darkmoons get linked according to their connection between eachother; faster connection + less latency = more chance to be summoned.

But, if you're in the US with over 15 times the population over here and STILL aren't getting summoned, then the game is definitively broken. FROMSOFT is in damage control and lying.

I've never been summoned as a blue sentinel either. Out of the dozen or so attempted invasions as a watchdog of farron all but two either aborted due to timeout or failed to join session. I have run around with way of blue though and would reliably summon in a blue sentinel when invaded. There should be a blue orb to actively try to search for someone in way of blue being invaded and the red orb should work for watchdogs. It's the autosummoning system that is making it a pain.

As they are about many things...

Dark Souls 1 and 2 had that cool mechanic where blues invaded the worlds of sinners, like red eye orb invaders, to punish them.

Whatever system they are using, its broken. Didn't they check this stuff? We'll have to ask our Console Comrades and see if its as broken there as it is here.

Summary of issues:
Priotisation is rigged (instasummuns vs. 5+hours of non-summoning)
Flooding of Darkmoons (Hard to confirm how many are in covenant at one time; 1st point as well)
Disconnects (seems to block the 2nd darkmoon from entering)
Endless summoning lag (Host lags out the entire time as connection is trying to be established)

Any others you guys would suggest?
ps. Blue orb pls FROM, just add sin you lazy bas turds

I think this is what seems to be the main issue. ^ That could be a viable reason on why this is the case for no blue sentinel invasions. But then again, I would assume they carried over the invasion of sinners, even without the blue eye. I have never been helped by a Blade of the Darkmoon either. Infact, I didn't even know that covenant existed until 3 days ago in my third playthrough.
