NG+ is easy as hell or just me?
Hi there, as someone who's been playing since de 1st DS im rly dissapointed with the NG here. In the other games NG was like "hey, play serious or you'll die to the very 1st mob", here in DS3 instead i've made the 3rd boss already without die a single time anywhere cleaning the areas.

This continue being easy or gets harder later? Kill things in 2-3 hits isnt funny at all and less if they die before be able to touch me at least.

NG+ starts easier than with previous titles but gets incrementally harder just like before. At NG+6 you'll start feeling the pain when some mobs will be able to one-shot you again...

I think people find DS3 easier is because they have already played DS1. before people had to learn a completely new game style but now most people already know the basics of a souls game and DS3 starts off easier for longer then the difficulty ramps up to give new players a bit of fun practice

Don't you think that being a veteran player on the series can influence you on that? My cousin, started the series with dark souls 3 and he is having a really bad time dying on the first areas...

On NG you start with for example a 110 dmg longsword including scale boni. With a build around a A/S rank weapon with 40-50 str or dex on +10 you will have about 400-500 dmg. On top of that you can add a enchantment spell for bosses which increases your dmg by another maybe 20-30% -> 500-600 dmg. Which means from start of NG until your build is finished (can be done in NG already through farming) you increase you dmg by 5x-6x. On NG+ enemies have about 2x the HP and on NG7 about 3,5-4x (wiki for DS1,2). Which means with a good build + weapon spell it should be quite easy. The enemy dmg is no real point to discuss because normally you always try to avoid damage first.

yeah new game+ is pretty easy but the biggest thing that disappoints me is the fact that, there are no changes in the enemy placements. feels like all they did was add +1/2 rings and up'd the enemies attack a little.
makes the whole thing boring after a while

That is pretty false considering how easy ng+ was in ds1 in the early game.

This. This is what i was thinking, is just the same, do the very same thing the very same way with the very same gear/moveset/enemy/all just for the rings. ATM is easy mode, i hope you all are right and gets harder later on, ty for the answers.

I'm on NG+6 and yeah it gets harder ... especially the damage enemies do.

man, I'm almost on level 300 on NG+9 , havel's armour and shield and black night greatsword, my hits do no damage to enemies, and bosses one shot me all the time , I can't beat some bosses alone, I really need a ghost help, the game is almost impossible after NG+8+9, really difficulty!!!

Dark Souls II was the only game that had a difficult NG+. I one-shotted the Asylum Demon, and five-shorted Gundyr. In Things Betwixt I immediately died to the Falconeers.

You could always play unembered, never summon, and use a stock weapon if you feel it's too easy for you.

Has ANY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NG+ in ANY Souls game been actually harder before NG+4-5? Like, for real. Yeah, DS2 had extra NPCs and all, but it was still easy.

Maybe like someone else said im getting good as a veteran should be, but dunno, the 1st feel in the NG was like "no, seriously, i did NG or not?". Ill keep doing until reach NG 4+.

NG+ has never been that hard.
