It was go time now, we'd been put through enough of his cowardice. The elevator began to spiral up as we were running trying to get to the bridge. I had to do a jump just to make it onto the elevator as it had already began to rise.. My sunlight bro tried to make the jump but died. "Nooooooo!!! " I screamed, now brooding with anger towards the loss of my brother, I charged forward, my blade buffed with sunlight.
As the elevator spiraled upwards, the invader had nowhere to run. My brother and I had cleared out the entirety of anor londo's enemies together. Now the hour of reckoning was at hand. He ran up the main castle stairs and outside the black smith's room we had our final duel. In the end, almost dead, he jumped off the edge of the balcony. A coward to the end. The menace had finally been purged from my world. But not without the cost of a valued warrior of sunlight. His name was (actually) "Morgan Freeman". Best pvp moment by far. Underhanded tricks, high speed chases, jolly co-op, the pain of loss and an epic final battle. Was more of an action epic than a pvp encounter.
Also this song needs to be playing in the final fight movie recreation

Good fun
Back when I first reached the iron bridge in DS2 I saw lots of red signs, so I decided to stay there for a while laying my sign and dueling. But then, this one time I was summoned and 2 reds were already fighting! :o
The host was watching near a warmth orb, there were lots of shiny things on the ground, everything was magical!
I rode the elevator down to chase him, and sent it back up as I got off. After chasing him around for a couple minutes while he tried to summon more help ("unable to summon phantom" has never been more delicious) the host tried running away... to the elevator, dropping to his death while I laughed and laughed
Catching him in a flashsword stunlock and watching him panic as his health leaves in chunks was hilarious. Watching him try and find help from the monsters when I had cleared the area already and couple things left died in two hits from some more lightsaber of love goodness was hilarious. Keep in mind he was a dex build using a scyth and knight armor and here I am chasing him down with a twig, wearing some wings on my head, a classic lady's dress and a neon pink horse tattoo stamped across my forhead with my purple hair like a sailor moon wannabe.
Chugging didnt help him, running away didnt help him, attacking with his scary scyth didnt help him.....all the panic rolls induced by my princess/jedi tutu wannabe. It was fairly hilarious to see someone fail to fight a low level mage so hard
Out of special situations in invasions I can mention this invasion where I happen to perfectly stealth the host: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3d2QC7Hysx4
And here where I invade two overleveled players (one has max level) that use pursuers:

Jak has a STR/FTH build in that game where he wears the Dark Mask, Balder Knight chest, Havel's arms and legs, uses the Demon King Greataxe and Havel's shield, and carries Soothing Sunlight.
I was using my trusty Elite Knight Helm, Steel chest, Black Iron arms and legs, Iron Round shield, Murakumo, and Barbed Straightsword/Silver Knight Straightsword (the Barbed is for hackers with hundreds of thousands of HP, Silver Knight for parry-fishers because of its slower timing).
Lastly, we adhere to etiquette, trying to have 1v1s and bowing to new arrivals. To us, you break etiquette when you run to use Humanity, try to warp-backstab by continuously walking toward us with a shield up, or run away to use the enemies to try and cover you.
In particular, one of our first invaders did all three of those things and led us on one of the many grand chases I've had in that game, clearing the forest while hunting him down. He tried to use the shortcut jump over the ravine and missed the mark in the end.
The forest PvP, combined with the ability for everyone and every build to be powerful in DkS1, was my favorite time with the games so far. I LOVE long fights, the kind where it starts even, but you can feel one side gaining the edge over time, then the switch-ups and desperation from the losing side to turn the tide, and the climactic finish. It's all I've ever wanted from a game: a way to emulate the feeling of sparring in my old dojo in my hometown when I was a teenager...
I felt like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pro
