Anri of Astora missing from firelink shrine after killing deacons of the deep.

I killed the Deacons, and immediately went to firelink shrine, but she wasn't there.
I haven't killed the Abyss watchers yet, i don't know if that holds any significance.
I also exhausted all her dialogue at the Halfway fortress bonfire.

You need to meet with her and Horace in the Catacombs.

Really? What it says on the wiki is that you need to speak to them at firelink shrine after killing the deacons of the deep.

You may have moved to far ahead and missed the chance to speak to her at firelink or you have not opened the catacombs. Kind of ironic that its not working out for you when you are using the wiki to guide your way through the questline .

If you want to progress in the game... You need to open the catacombs or you may want to go to the cathederal lady I think her name is Elizabeth (one of the normal names and not some silly obscure Japanese bs) investigate that area and advance into the castle. These are the only two of the three last main branching paths you have left to go and another main branching path is behind one of the aforementioned.

My problem isn't that i dont know where to go to progress, it's more so that Anri wont appear and i just don't know if im missing something.

I can't ask for that. Had no character glitches in my playthrough of Dks3, only ever had issues with DKS1. The catacombs need to be open also you should have spoken to Anri beforehand the first time you meet her and expensed all her dialogue. Also you may have needed to summon her for the deacon fight or you just need to open the catacombs so she can advance on her journey. I did this and had no issues and I did not need a wiki you may have gone and reloaded to many bonfires but that was more a dks1 issue.

Her storyline just advanced without the firelink event and that can happen with all the characters.

Smouldering lake, inside a cave, hug the left or right side. cant remember exactly.

Horace is in the Smouldering Lake. Hug the wall to the right as you go into the area.

If you just want the sword you can kill her. To follow along her main questline, you do have to deal with Horace at Smouldering lake. If going along the Lord of Hollows quest, you can ignore him entirely.
