At such a low soul level, there are so few thing...sooooo few things that can one-shot you if set up just right.
I think I got 1-shotted once by a hornet ring user. Everything else might do maybe 1/2 health? Even parries do basically nothing to me. Maybe 1/4 or 1/5 HP.
Makes PVP more interesting until it comes to the higher levels and just... 1-shotting everything.
It kinda ruins the fun.
"Whoops I got parried. Whoops I'm instantly dead!"
Or
"Is that a miracle? Whoops I'm instantly dead!"
At SL 30 range.. it's like "Ah! Backstabbed! I'm okay though. Ah crap, got caught in a halberd's spinning combo! That's okay though, only took 1/3 my HP! I can recover!"
