Is Aldia still alive (lore theory)

It is said in the lore that a scholar convinced Lothric that lighting the bonfire is pointless and not worth the sacrifice. Aldia did that to us in DS2 and we know that he did not die at the end of the game. I think it may be possible he visited Lothric before the events of DS3. Possibly a DLC....

Dark Souls II happened, you have the lord of the profaned capital, some armors like Alva's Set, some weapons like Fume Ultra Greatsword, some NPC's like Gilligan, that guy from the ladders dead in the profaned capital and everything.

Assuming Aldia was not able to convince the Chosen Undead to become the Lord of Darkness and leave the Flame darkened, he could have waited till he could convince someone such as Lothric.

Maybe he's just going around and telling everybody to stop lighting themselves on fire. He clearly is a high being who can teleport anywhere and be everywhere. Maybe that's why the world is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ right now. People finally started listening to him and said they were tired of this cycle. Pretty much means the PC is an idiot and a ♥♥♥♥. After all, even if you choose the good ending "and link the fire" the fire barely lights. You basically killed a bunch of big dudes for nothing and wasted a lot of peoples time.

Dark Souls II is not a bad game. It may be weakest of all the Soul's Games but it is not a bad game.

The fact that someone thought 'Soul Memory' was a cool idea is beyond me actually. You don't have a proper red eye orb so you have to buy them, so you have to kill things so you have to dedicate yourself to leveling up, that totally killed the multiplayer. You couldn't had a specific character just for invading in certain areas and stuff, that was sad.

People could get invaded while hollow, that was cool, like, really cool actually.
