Ultimate Guide to the Abyss Watchers (so easy a caveman could do it)
I found this guide after being summoned a few times to fight the Abyss Watchers, cant beat that good ol jolly co-operation. First you will need someone with a zweihander. After starting the fight simply land a backstab on the Abyss watcher, and then let the person with the zweihander charger up their r2 / rt and if it lands it will knock them back. This will also work on the second form Abyss watcher as well. If you have chloranthy ring on you should be able to keep doing that to them without them being able to attack. Simple as that. If it at some point doesnt knock them back simply land another backstab and start again. It is easiest to try to get them in a corner or near a wall.

If you need any help just summon yeid, Ill be there with my summon sign.

Um... Sacred flame glitch. One shot. But that really ruins things for the game.

well this isnt a glitch. This is simply a cheese method for beating them if someone is having a hard time with them. It also makes it easier for people soloing the game.

I'm yet to read the post but I assume; summon Gotthard so he may solo them?

EDIT:
Oh god it's even worse

The ultimate guide wouldn't need to resort to Summons.

Where's the true Ultimate guide!? The Git Gud Guide!?

oh yes. The zweihander knockback has been so effective that I have taken 0 damage fighting them with someone.

Well you could just do this solo. Simply get a backstab and then just use the knockback.

While co-oping, there is no need for a guide for any boss - just R1 spam.

While this does work in co-op, This is also a helpful tip for anyone soloing the game. It may be unorthodox, but it does a good deal of damage (Zweihander with raw infusion) and if done right can get to the second part of the Abyss watchers fight before the second Abyss watcher spawns (kill the initial Abyss Watcher without any of his buddies coming along).

What are you talking about, that is definitely a glitch. It allows you to use a pyromancy spell without having a caster item in your left or right hand. You trick the game into believing you can cast it without having actively equipped. That is the pure definition of a glitch. Also, this explains why I suddenly died to this overkill pyro skill during an invasion a long time ago.

Or just parry him.

Here's a surefire way to beat them: GIT GUD!

I was saying that what I was doing (the zweihander knockback) wasnt a glitch and therefore not a bannable offense. It is simply just a cheap way of killing them.
