Geez.. char customization
So yea there are a lot of options, which is great, I mean you are not limited at all and can make the craziest faces if you like.

But I've been for hours at the char screen and I just can't make a decent looking character. Everything looks like ♥♥♥♥! The skin color is almost impossible to get right, the character face has all these different colors and looks very greasy. Even a simple lip color manages to make my chin GREEN!

The character actually looks so ugly that I'm thinking even Oblivion models look better. WHICH IS ODD FOR A GAME IN 2016.

Lol, ok. I'm ranting. Is there any way to make a somewhat decent looking character? I'm kinda big into making my character look good, one of those RPG pet peeves I have... and it seems impossible in this game.

Making a good looking character is certainly possible. But good god, you will need to spend a long time doing it.

It doesn't help that a lot of the sliders don't seem to make much sense, or relate to what they actually do. Like "Nostril size" makes the nose tip longer. Why? How? When? We may never know.

Just keep at it, and save faces often because it's easy to accidentally muck up something you like, and then not be sure what bloody slider it was that messed up the face.

Source: 2 and a half solid hours to make one character face.

Well, it is impossible.
You can settle with "somewhat ok"
They didnt even bother to make armor look different between male and female. I mean yeah...Its more logical then skimpy rpg armor...But thats not the point here

lol maybe your standards are unrealistic

Depends really, I think my character looks alright, but maybe she looks terrible to other people lol... It can be a pain sometimes to get it right.. And it's much easier to make a freak :p

They look okay. It doesn't matter anyway because you'll probably have a helmet on.

There is male and female armor, it can just be worn by either gender. Plus some armor does look different, like warrior armor.

I set nearly everything to 120, and the face looked decent enough (a hell of a lot better than the stock ones :P).

I just wear a hat.

The only problem I've had with it is how white you can get your hair, I've just been using 255, 245, 225 to get a close match to what the Firekeeper has. There are some decent sliders floating around that you can adapt off of for females, haven't seen any for males yet.

I've used that one as a base (saved to favourites) and used that for most of my female characters, usually with the head size lowered so helmets don't look silly. My main problem with customization in the game is helmets, there are very few smaller ones other than Dusk's, the Pyro starter and scrappy hobo mask.

LOL what

Ok so there are atleast people that made preset sliders. Should make my job easier. Thanks!

And if everything fails I will go settle for a scrumbus looking horror. Lol

Well I did it, I actually managed to create a decent looking character (with help from a preset and then adjusted myself to make it better).
