I disagree. The Chaos Blade has the highest bleed and Dex scaling of any weapon in the game. I have won 22/25 duels this morning at pontiff. Maybe i played against scrubs. But it's op.

So, first of all, the best "bleed scaling" (if that even exists; no one can tell for sure as the stat is hidden, the number displayed is showing the percentage of your opponent's maximum health that is being sapped if his bleed build-up reaches maximum) has the Corviant Scythe.
Then... the Chaos Blade cannot be infused. So no Hollow infusion to make use out of the bleed on the weapon. You literally NEVER bleed someone in PvP except for they are chugging Estus right in front of you and you manage to hit them 6-8 times in quick succession.
Also, this weapon is not "op". I manged to win duels in just 5 seconds with my Black Knight Glaive. That's not unusual. Literally every weapon with somewhat good AR can nuke scrubs. Doesn't change the fact that the moveset of katanas is currently pretty weak.

The slighlest of lag makes it really hard to parry. id rather get equally long weapon.

Wouldn't be that hard considering he is basically just using a shorter Greatsword without any hyper armor, a.k.a. a Katana.
Rapier, Spear, Greatsword, Greataxe, Halberd... pick your poison.

P.S.: I am not saying OP is not credible or bad at the game. Quiet the contrary. Making the best use out of a weapon that is as handicapped as the Chaos Blade right now is quiet impressive. But neither the bleed nor the moveset of this weapon are any advantage as of right now in this game. It either has to do with the people OP is challanging or he simply is just that skilled at the game.

I don't spam R1 at all. I will use single hand R2 to poke when I know that my opponent has exhausted his stamina and then follow up with a few r1 hits which typically causes them to run away. Rinse and repeat. The range on single R2 combined with the Leo ring is pretty insane dmg. I have my buckler just in case i see an opportunity to parry. Katanas are only easy to parry if somebody is overly aggressive with R1 when they shouldn't be.
I beat all of my opponents who had the darksword as well. To me the Chaos Blade is better than the Dark Sword because of its range.

Its true that the Chaos Blade can't be buffed, but buffs don't guarantee wins at all.

Well, it's not as bad as in previous games. According to my experience the issue "phantom range" is now less prominent on katanas but rather equally spread among all weapons in this game.

It's not only about not being able to buff the weapon. The inability to infuse the weapon aswell is making the bleed literally pointless in this weapon. Your opponent either dies too quickly or is never getting hit often enough to be bled with the Chaos Blade.
Oh and just a reminder: even the Uchigatana has a better AR on a 40/40 quality build than the Chaos Blade. They either need to nerf the AR of Katanas (ideally the scaling on Strength) or need to buff the Chaos Blade, because as of right now, the only thing that differenciates the Chaos Blade from other katanas is the 15 damage you take when you (seemingly) hit an opponent. And that's not a positive in my book.
That said, I do love the look of the Chaos Blade and are willing to let this weapon consume my health to be able to use it in PvP.

I agree. In my playthrough I'm trying a lot of other DEX weapons in PVE and PVP as well. But katana, especially after getting Chaos Blade is definitely OP for me in any ways. It's so sad to realize that no other weapon type will fit for my current DEX build :(
