I was thinking of ds3 anor londo, but yeah, that also might be the sunless realm, but that was the anor londo ages ago, i dont think sirris would be alive at that time.
I thought that only applied for summon signs, hence iron tarkus being dead in anor londo but you could summon him in dks1
