Dark Souls III Keyboard Icons

Hello. Is there is anyway I can change the xbox button icons that appears in Dark Souls III to a normal keyboard icons ? It's really annoying playing dark souls 3 on pc with an xbox icons. The PC version should have a regular visual keyboard icons not an xbox. It's really frustrating. I'v seen tons of complaints about that issue on other forums. I don't really like to keep going to the settings each time I want to see what does each button do. Is there is anyway to fix that?

I'm pretty sure there is no way to do it, I ended up memorising the PC controls after 104 hours of play until I got a controller, it's confusing but bearable. To my knowledge there is no way to fix it. T.T

There isn't AFAIK. I play with M&K and I just disabled all the Xbone popups. You can do that by un-binding all the controller buttons in the menu.

But prepare for all the people telling you that you're "playing the game wrong". There might be a mod out there for a new interface, but who knows if that's allowed anymore.

i hate controllers for everything else but dark souls, i agree with you guys but you really should try playing with a controller, its much better for this game

The truth is. I hate controllers as well. I actually didn't bother buying one. I don't find it fun playing with it.

People say that this game is "better with controllers", And that's true.. For the default PC controls.

But with 10 minutes or so rebinding time and a bit of memorization, you can play this game as you would any other PC title. I don't understand why fromsoft/bamco hate PC layouts so much, but the games are perfectly playable with it.

Source: NG+2 on both DS2 and DS3. Never used a controller.

This guy gets it. But there are a few bugs with it and you need to run an external exe.
