To answer the last part of your question, the dual scaling is higher. Quality FTW
are they really that bad? can't say I've EVER used one except once in bloodborne and it was terrible.
thanks, I wasn't sure what the threshold is on quality vs single scaling, like say, A scaling gives 10 are per stat and B gave 5, then it would obviously be much higher with the larger spread.
you can filter the scaling columns alphabetically and look at the scaling for different infusions too, but basically without infusions:
Strength
-Butcher Knife
-Fume Ultra Great Sword
Dexterity
-Chaos Blade
-Pontiff Great Knife Scythe
Intelligence
- Court Sorcerer's Staff
Faith
-Yorshka's Chime
-Cleric's Sacred Chime
-Archdecon Great Staff
-Saint's Talisman
damm, not much 'S scaling stuff :( bored of my butcher knife, and I do like fume but wanted to try something different.
is chaos blade any good as a weapon? not touched katanas really but I know I parry them a lot in pvp, doesn't chaos blade deplete your health too?
Couldn't tell you, I haven't experimented with a lot of weapons yet
yeah my fume has 70 odd less AR than my bkga, which also goes up even higher with its war cry buff.
tempted to try the black Knight great sword tho, CC scaling doesn't look too hopeful :(
hmm might give it a try, suppose I can at least have a go with scythe too and see how bad it sucks lol
They're pretty bad. They never seem to even hit close as hard as their AR says. They have a terrible sweetspot mechanic and are generally weaker than even straight swords. Granted, straight swords are OP anyway.
