What is there to do in Cathedral of the Deep after defeating the Deacons of the Deep?

I also killed both giants and collected almost all the loot. However when I wanted to cross the risen bridge, that guy in a onion armor betrayed me and lowered the bridge to the treasure. How can i raise it back?

Also what is there left to do after I beat the Deacons of the Deep?

Int he bonfire that leads toe verywhere, right outside of it (From where you first got inside) to the right there should be a well. Did you go talk to it?

bump. is there actually anything to do here after defeating Deacons and clearing the place? or should I go to Farron Keep?

Another optional thing if you are a collectionist is to farm a Cathedral Knight on the rafters in the cathedral which drops a Heavy Crossbow. A rare and unique drop from this one enemy.

Without spoiling too much for you:

You should find a way to a switch that raises that piece so you can cross it again. To find it means exploring the entire level.

From the bonfire you have three options. At the start there's only one. The two other doors are closed.

You need to open the left door and after the left door is another double door with an round elevator that takes you up. From there you need to explore and find another way to go up even higher.

Be aware of your surroundings and be sure to explore and also dare to explore. You will find the other side of the cathedral this way. (and that switch we're talking about.)
