Dropping items?
So how do you drop items in this game? I have been wondering this for a long time because i want to drop items for the bird in firelink to get his stuff but never knew how, im using an xbox controller

"Leave" option.

ok how do you bring up that menu that has the leave option in it, i have gone through all my buttons over and item and nothing brings up the menu with leave or to use a souls without having to equip it and leave the inventory to use it.

Go in to your inventory and press A while an item is highlighted. Are you telling me that isn't working?

I myself like to drop items for hosts I invade. Particularly, rubbish. Make it seem like a pre-duel gift and as soon as they do the picking up animation, I strike.

Be careful taking stuff from people onlinle, especially if they seem suspicious since if it's hacked you can get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over by FROM's "anti-cheat" software.

no clicking a on the items i have equipped just unequips it

Go into your inventory, not equip menu. Second option in the start menu.
