The man serpent Hatchet is basically "Same damage and scaling as the Battle axe, but also longer and has slight shield bypass damage". If you wanted the most basic case of "Like what I alreayd had, just slightly better".
The winged knight twin axes are also fun. (the fat knights with the, well, twin axes dropthem). Their weapon art is also "You spin as long as you hold the button down, or you run out of stamina".
However, I want to say, you are a cut above the average player if you used your standard issue Battle Axe as your primary weapon all game. It's not that it's bad, it's just that it's not as conveniet as what many use.
i guess i'm just used to it, i turned it into a heavy battle axe and kept upgrading. i found the deep axe later on after googling about it, but the ore it takes and the strength rating just doesn't add up for me compared to what i'm using; so i don't use it. I've spent titanite scales and twinkling on other experimentals that just don't compare in the end. i just feel like i'm missing something, after all it is the starting weapon for my class.
Knights start with longswords which can also carry you through the whole game, so warrior isn't alone there.
Butcher knife is also quite popular, it's surprisingly fast for it's size and scaling, but you may not like it's strong attacks.
For stuff familiar to the moveset you know, there are also the normal hammer style weapons. Mace, Mornignstar, Drang Hammers are pretty cool, though I think depending on your stats you'd have better total damage with your Battle Axe?

All the details on what stats stuff has when upgraded are not filled in, but the basics are all there.
If you want something bigger, many of the "Greataxe" weapons are popular. Black Knight Greataxe is very badass, but you may not have bothered with the 18 Dex it also needs.
The "Great Machete" only needs 24 STR to one hand and still has a self buff for a weapon art.
the "Literally called great axe" is also nice, 32 STR to one hand.
The rest of the great axes are boss soul weapons.
A heads up that Player Poise doesn't work (it's literally turned off in the files), so you need to be more careful if being interrupted at the start of your attacks with big slower weapons.
Dope, thanks man. I'm hoping to run into a black knight great axe, in hopes that i'll be able to craft it into something better. The starting axe is great but its taken many loud cursings and weary neighbors to make it through this far.
