I know everyone is going to disagree with me here, but I think Aldrich was the hardes boss for me:P I think I actually used more tries on Nameless King, but with him I got a bit better each time. I just died and died on Aldrich without making much progress to beat him, until I just lucked out and killed him with ez one random round
Nameless King, in my opinion, is overrated as being hard. His first stage gives me trouble occasionally because the camera sucks during that stage, but his second stage is just long. Most deaths I think are due to impatience or greed, because he telegraphs everything so much slower than some of the others.
Deacons should have been the easiest, but yes, they too got me I believe twice. I know the first time I failed for sure, I went in with a spear and had trouble killing multiple deacons as a result. Eventually the curse got me. Second time I came back with a sweeping weapon (I think I just brought a Corvian Scythe) and trashed them, but an orb from the main boss clipped me literally at the exact moment like 3 deacons sent fireballs my way - had no option but to take them all at once because the orb clip stunned me, and I died instantly. Pretty annoying. Third time I killed them in like 2 mins or something.
Oceiros I did kill on my first try. I also helped a couple other people fight him prior to myself fighting (if I feel like learning a boss first, I won't summon people, I'll just get myself summoned and learn them that way - but I don't do it often). I liked this fight though - same reason I liked Twin Princes. I like when the bosses talk during the fight or have cool cutscenes. Oceiros was just a really cool boss, despite being pretty easy. He does hit like a truck though if he does manage to get you (occasionally I'll get swiped by his tail spin if I'm mid attack when he decides to do it).
Vordt is also crazy easy. Way easier than Iudex Gundyr was (monstrosity form kicked my *ss the first couple times).
As for Aldrich, just have to stay on that *ss. As soon as he pops up, run straight at him and he will likely just try to melee you (he will usually always summon those small homing missiles though, easy to dodge) with his unbelievably slow swings and his 10 minute (exaggeration) recovery, and then he just sinks again. Repeat.
Ancient Wyvern and Yhorm are automatically the easiest for being non-fights, but as far as actual bosses go you can kill Wolnir before he even has a chance to hit you.
Champion Gundyr... man, this boss was pure BS. A stone golem on cocain + amphetamine able to bench press your house, that's what this thing is!
Nameless is much easier because he allows you to breathe a bit and his "ghost range" isn't nearly as cheap as gundyr.
But yeah Oceiros is easy. Especially with sunlight spears, then he's just a joke (even Wolnir and Yorm are more dangerous then).
Deacon is easy but can be problematic if you allow them to curse you.
But yeah the bosses I 1st tried were basically Crystal Sage, Wolnir, Oceiros and Deacon. All pretty easy. Yorm killed me 3-4 times (took me a while to figure out how stormruler was working) and I really wanted to beat the ancient wyvern with lightning spears, like a true dragonslayer! I managed after 5 attempts.
Still not particularly hard, but not faceroll-easy either.
I do agree that Nameless King isn't as hard as many make him out to be. His first phase is fine if you don't lock on and the second phase is very straightforward, if punishing.
Aldrich got me a few times because he sometimes doesn't care how close you are to him - he'll use that stupid arrow rain anyway.
Champion Gundyr was easy for me. I can't have used more than 2-3 tries on him. Maybe even just 1. The difficulty wasn't really scaled up that much from the tutorial.
Its either Nameless or Aldrich that was the hardest for me for some reason.
Nameless King. Probably the boss I had to use the most tries to beat(much because of the horrible camera), but I always got better on him. Each round I took a bit more of his HP until I got him.
Aldrich. I just died and died every time. And I never felt that I did much progress to beat him. Last time I tried I just felt I were lucky..
If we dont count Yhorm, Ancient Wyvern and Wolnir(because they are "gimmick-bosses")
I think either Deacons or Abyss Watchers was the easies boss for me.
I used less estus on Abyss Watchers
In the 2nd phase, if you stand still for like 8 minutes, they'll cast this big dark cloud attack that slowly curses you. If you don't hit any of the casters a single time, then you'll be cursed.
I never felt oceiros was especially hard or easy.
