Both this demon spider, and the fair lady is behind an illusiary wall.. the corpse leaning on her I beleave is queelana (in my old post I thought it was Eingyi). That would explain why the tome is there.
Just found this video, must watch, you guys should check it out.
Quelana is described in DS1 as "the mother of pyromancy," so it makes sense that the tome would bear her name, regardless of which "daughter" you loot it from. The corpse is almost certainly the Fair Lady, the set-up is deliberately reminicent of the first game, with her hidden away behind the illusionary wall.
Nah, that's the Izalith tome. Quelana's tome gives you standard pyromancies, the Izalith tome gives you chaos pyromancies.
