[LORE SPOILER) That dead spider in Demon Ruins
Could it be Chaos Witch Queelag?
Why is it there, didn't we kill it in a huge open chamber back in DS1?
It could also be Queelag's sister the fair lady, but why's she holding on to Quelana's pyromancy tome?
Just something to think about, still waiting for VaatiVidya's prepare to cry videos, then we'll learn more :D:

I think it's just homeage to all the times we farmed the Duke's Dear Freja into NG++++++ for CSS and murdered her little babies while doing it.

It totally reminded me of quelaags sister, but maybe quelana suffered a similar fate after disappearing in ds1?

I think it is the Faitr lady.. I did a post about it a while ago.
Both this demon spider, and the fair lady is behind an illusiary wall.. the corpse leaning on her I beleave is queelana (in my old post I thought it was Eingyi). That would explain why the tome is there.

The pyromancies you get from the tome are the ones you normally get from the Chaos servant covenant, it's pretty safe to assume that it's the corpse of Quelaag's sister.

Quelana is described in DS1 as "the mother of pyromancy," so it makes sense that the tome would bear her name, regardless of which "daughter" you loot it from. The corpse is almost certainly the Fair Lady, the set-up is deliberately reminicent of the first game, with her hidden away behind the illusionary wall.

Nah, that's the Izalith tome. Quelana's tome gives you standard pyromancies, the Izalith tome gives you chaos pyromancies.
It's the Fair Lady.

Yep, I've found loads of lore videos uploaded by underrated youtubers speculating that it is infact The Fair Lady

It's touching really. The final two sisters of Izalith spent their final days together and died cradling each other. Quelana finally found the courage to return and found her sister.
